Güntersberge

Güntersberge is situated to the north from Stolberg at the bank of the river Selke, directly at the Selketal-railway, one of the most beautiful tracks of the narrow-gauge railways.

In Güntersberge is the extraordinary mousetrap and curiosities museum. Worthwhile are also the parish church and the city hall. A children recreation centre [KIEZ] is arranged specially for young guests.

Above the town an idyllic mountain lake invites to go swimming. The beautiful enviroment is well-liked especially by hikers and nature lovers. In the winter are cross-country trails for the exploration of the enviroment available. The eductional path through the forest gives nature lovers an insight in the geology as well as in the flora and fauna of the Harz-mountains.
